Job Description

As a technical contributor on the team, you will have the ability and empowerment to make changes and move quickly. You will have the opportunity to directly impact cloud initiatives, mobile applications, websites, and other development projects. The ideal candidate is effective in a fast-paced Agile Development environment, pushing industry best practices and system maturity through analysis, automated testing, and performance testing of products.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate meaningful testing plans and recaps that drive product decisions.
  • Produce automated UI tests that navigate all possible use cases of the system including systems, mobile apps, and websites
  • Analyze system performance for bottlenecks
  • Boost unit, integration, and system testing coverage.
  • Support, maintain, and administer cloud testing solutions
  • Use project’s best practices and coding standards
  • Have a customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that is centered around a great customer experience
  • Be an active participant in and help enhance a mature agile environment
  • Explore new methods and tools for automated testing
  • Take necessary measures to ensure adoption of latest testing trends in daily code development activities
  • Flexible enough to work on products being produced for a fast-changing market
  • Constantly look for ways to increase the team’s velocity/productivity by eliminating waste
  • Accurately document issues found, assign proper severity, and engage members of the team to drive resolution
  • Help build and maintain high team morale

Skills and Knowledge

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of automated software testing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or strong work equivalent
  • Demonstrated testing experience using Selenium Web Driver and Appium
  • Development experience using C#
  • Strong background and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing
  • Experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mobile development and UI testing experience
  • Experience testing embedded Linux systems
  • Script and tool writing experience to aid in test suite execution
