Consultis, a premier Technical Solutions Provider and IT Staffing Firm with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity is currently searching for an Identity and Access Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity (FTE) with our South Florida based client.

Position Overview:

This area exists to reduce risk, enhance compliance adherence, improve the end user experience, reduce staff on boarding and transference time and automate manual processes in relation to User Access.  You will help ensure the ongoing protection of systems, networks, physical assets and data of the company and its customers. The position will be responsible for assisting in the planning, designing and implementing Identity/Access Management (IAM) solutions at an enterprise and application level for the organization. Will work cross functionally throughout the organization, monitor the post-implementation service delivery, take actions and steps to verify and validate that services are being delivered in support of the Identity Management Program and Operations. This will require someone with considerable experience within the Identity Management Profession.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Lead IAM strategy, roadmap and vision definition
  • Lead creation of IAM solution architecture and design
  • Lead IAM Audit, Operational Risk and Compliance adherence
  • Manage IAM delivery project consisting of multiple work streams, phases or releases
  • Assist in development of documentation, subject training, and other knowledge material on IAM
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at varying organizational levels
  • Build working relationships with IAM vendor product management, development and engineering teams
  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems
  • Interacts with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach
  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals
  • Has some latitude in decision-making and acts independently to determine methods and procedures
  • Assess existing processes and suggest new ones that most effectively anticipate, manage and reduce risk
  • Maintain regulatory awareness and compliance and ensure adherence to risk-related policies and best practices
  • Demonstrate and embed the behaviors and competencies that create a risk management mind-set in the organization
  • Work as part of a security incident response team as required

Required Qualification or Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s level preferred) in related field or at least 10 years of experience in primary duties
  • Information Security and Governance certifications including at least one of the following – CISSP (preferred), CISA, CRISC, COBIT5 and ITIL
  • Experience in: Security & Risk/Identity, Access Management and Technology Security Controls
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing identity management strategies, architectures and implementation plans
  • Experience of Identity Governance & Administration
  • Experience in Access Management & Federation
  • Experience facilitating business process design as it relates to managing identities and access privileges
  • Experience leading business requirements gathering and translating those into system requirements
  • Role Based Access Control and Definition
  • Audit & Risk Controls
  • Experience implementing packaged or custom IAM solutions
  • Familiarity with federated identity and web services security concepts such as SAML, WS-Federation and experience with IAM tools – such as Novell NetIQ, or similar tools
  • Experience managing project through the full system development lifecycle
  • Multiple language abilities preferred – fluency in English (written and spoken) required
  • Flexibility to travel as required up to 25% overnight travel
