Job Description

The Cyber Security Administrator works with other members of the IT Department, software teams, hardware design teams, and management to support all aspects of the Cyber Security Posture of critical systems. A successful candidate will have experience working with network infrastructure devices and protocols, server systems, firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection systems, cyber security policy definition and documentation, auditing standards and evidence requests, etc.  Candidates must be highly motivated and will be required to respond to and provide resolutions to problems on a timely basis.  Candidates must also have experience with internal and external audits of information technology assets and staff, analyzing cyber security attack surfaces, vectors, and exploits.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 Years of experience and/or industry certifications/degree such as:
    • CISSP
    • CISM
    • CompTIA-Security+
    • CEH
    • GCES
    • Palo Alto-PCNSE
    • Cisco-CCNP Security/CCIE Security
    • Wireshark-WCNA
    • A.S./A.A.S in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 24/7 availability as part of an on-call rotation
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Acceptable background investigation report
  • Ability to pass criminal background, drug screening, and credit checks
  • U.S. citizen

Preferred Skills in One or More Areas:

  • Cisco ASA, IPS
  • Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, End Point Protection (GlobalProtect)
  • Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems and Security – Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.
  • Symantec End Point Protection Products
  • Wireless security technologies from Cisco, Aruba
  • Experience configuring and operating Web Application Firewalls, specifically the F5-WAF
  • Knowledge and capability of social engineering attacks and analysis, ethical hacking, protocol fuzzing, DDoS, etc.
